The Origins of Space Coast Comic Con
Space Coast Comic Con was founded in 2015 by David and Julie Grace. For years, they poured their hearts and energy into building the show from the ground up, working tirelessly to grow it into one of the Space Coast’s most anticipated pop-culture events. Along the way, they brought on Jake Estrada as a marketer to help expand the show’s reach.
As the convention flourished, Jake became more than a promoter—he became a true partner. But then the world was hit by the pandemic, and like so many others, David and Julie made the difficult decision to step away. They passed the baton to Jake Estrada, who has carried the torch ever since, ensuring the event continues to thrive and evolve.
Even so, the Graces remain an important part of the show’s DNA. Every now and then, attendees can still spot them walking the floor, forever tied to the historical lore of Space Coast Comic Con.
